Driver escapes with minor injuries after van crashes into townhome

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First/Gray News) — A person suffered minor injuries after a van drove into a building and became stuck between the building and a wall, officials said.The incident happened on Lemon Street in Acworth. Acworth police said the driver was trying to turn onto Lemon Street when he overcorrected and drove into a townhome. Photos show a van with its front smashed into the building and its rear bumper perched on a wall.Cobb County fire officials said the driver suffered minor injuries.
